Have you seen? – Environmental Farming Scheme (Wider)
Tranche 6 of the Environmental Farming Scheme – Wider Version (the version for land that is not protected/designated) will open on 30th August.
Application must be submitted by the 23rd September.
The scheme offers payments for capital works for environmental work such as hedge planting, agroforestry, or protecting watercourses from livestock (and vice versa!) There are a number of reasonable possibilities in the scheme that farmers could use to make improvements to their holdings. Applications are made online and must be a minimum of £2,500 – up to a maximum of £12,500 to £20,000 depending on the size of holding. Tranche 6 Agreements will commence on 1st Janaury 2023, and as such those who entered the Wider Scheme in Tranche 1 for a 5 year term will be able to apply again to enter tranche 6.
